Mission Statement

Grace Lutheran is dedicated to revealing God=s love to all people and growing dynamic disciples for Jesus Christ

We will reveal God's love and grow dynamic disciples by proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ through the relevant applications of God=s Word through our worship and study, our people and ministries, and our faithfulness and fellowship.

At Grace, with the help of the Holy Spirit, we intentionally live by this mission statement.  We purposely desire to create an atmosphere where you and your family may grow in knowledge and faith and be able to express that faith.  Our rule of thumb is that everyone is encouraged and supported in using their gifts to the extent that Gods has blessed them.

Welcome to Grace Lutheran in Pensacola, Florida

Jesus said to His disciples after He rose on Easter, "Peace be with you." I love those four words. The disciples' lives that Friday night, Saturday, and early Sunday morning were anything but peaceful. Their lives crumbled when Jesus was arrested; their futures were at stake as well. With Jesus' crucifixion, their hopes and dreams seemed destroyed. But Easter morning brought the disciples peace when Jesus rose. In your loneliness, pain, challenges of raising a family, and business of living, Jesus says, "Peace be with you."

Grace Lutheran Church is a family, a peace-filled family that desires for every guest to come with us to the "upper room" of worship and hear Jesus' words of love, grace, and mercy. I hope that this technical wonder, the Web page, reminds you of the priceless message of God's love shared through His people, and that you will join us on Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays, ... or any day as we live with a peace that only Jesus can give.

Grace Lutheran Church is a member of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod, an international church, consisting of over 6,000 congregations in the United States and missions in over 50 countries worldwide.

We are: A Bible based church. We believe the Bible is the Word of God and the only source of doctrine. A Sacramental church. We believe that Baptism and the Lord’s Supper are central to our life together. An active and caring church. We seek to grow dynamic disciples for Jesus Christ. We love and care for each other and all those who come to worship here. An outreach oriented church. We seek to reveal God’s love to all people by proclaiming the Good News of Jesus Christ. We seek to make His love known to our neighbors and community.
